Some music I made

Author Topic: Some music I made  (Read 1790 times)

I mainly do Progressive house, or atleast attempt it. I've had people tell me that I am pretty good at making music, and one of them said they were a fan. Here is some of them. (They are all short)

Progressive House Test: http://frostwind.webstarts.com/uploads/ProgHouseTest.mp3

Some Chip tune beat: http://frostwind.webstarts.com/uploads/ChiptuneBEAT.mp3

WIP House Music (Can use some working on): http://frostwind.webstarts.com/uploads/TestNewHouse.ogg

So yea, thought I'd share what I have since people have been telling me that I'm pretty good. Enjoy.

Really good, I could see your music being displayed in some indie games!
Keep making more, love them

But in your case most of us like your stuff. Anyway, people in the drawing topic aren't (usually) nearly as critical or rude.

I just find it terrible when criticism is too gentle.
If you give somebody a false sense of capability, then you're setting them up to take a bigger fall later.

I never meant too gentle, just gentler. It's still criticizing after all, so I doubt any advice would really set them up to fail later. If you call something someone has made "atrocious", how do you think that'l make them feel? Almost certainly bad, and it's unlikely that most people would feel the urge to try harder after comments like that. I understand that there's a fine line, but most people don't seem to know where that line is.

I make music with an electronic synth device/app.
My fingers get tired, so usually the songs are roughly one minute long.

You might want to edit that chip tune beat, a little too grating, not much melody/groove/anything thats really catchy or appealing

this is why i never put anything productive on here anymore, and nobody sees how productive i can be on here
everyone simply tells me in short that im stuff when i try putting something on here and i JUST started making things
and then my mental state slowly bashes away
anyway
op, you're really good at this
keep going
