What does BLF exactly think of Alternate Reality Games?

They seem to be a mixed bag, some good, some utterly stuffty. Some users love them, some despise them.

Would you people want to see more or less? What should be improved upon in them? What do you personally think about them?

I'm not really fussed.

But I prefer it if there aren't loads of them here which are poorly made, very easy, and not thought out, as was the case with a number of the imitation ARGs we had after Mura made that big one before.
