I watch national television in the lounge with a tray of food from the mess hall.
The news is on, and reports:
"Our next report comes from Denton, Mercana, where twenty people were shot and twelve killed in an attack on a rad-zone checkpoint by a religious sect calling themselves "The Children of the Ark". At approximately five in the morning, three minivans full of pulled up to one of the guard booths and demanded entrance at gunpoint. Officer Brad Haywood was on duty at the time.
"We deal with people trying to sneak or bribe their way into the zone all the time, usually religious types on some pilgrimage, or tourists who want to take a look at the ship, but nobody's ever tried anything like this."
With no other choice, Officer Haywood allowed the cultists to enter, but not before calling for backup. A high speed pursuit across the wasteland soon followed, eventually coming to a stop and becoming an all-out battle when the Children's vehicles got bogged down in the radioactive mud. A battle that would claim the lives of three security officers. Surviving cult members are currently being treated at Denton Municipal Hospital for radiation sickness."
Qwepir is the man credit to him for writing this stuff up.
