I think in battles enemies shooting/you shooting enemies should be governed by Dice roll unless thats the system right now.

Probably gonna toss that in as a simple "d30 you roll a 1 you're forgeted you roll a 30 you are winner" thing

Well I mean you're flying Mirage 2000s and still kind of managing against a prototype super-jet.

"Negative. Craft is of unknown make and model, no weaponry data is found, and no IFF, although it can be presumed to be a Huitzlaotani craft. It is most definitely faster than your craft and can likely disengage at any time."

How many missiles I'm going to go with all of them because I've dragged this on long enough.
The pilot dumps flares, but gets sloppy. As they maneuver away they accidentally hit a missile and get their wing knocked out. As they start spiraling out of control, the pilot has ample time to eject.
They don't.
The plane crashes nose-first into the ground, the roosterpit obviously crushing the pilot inside. This also, unfortunately, would likely have the effect of annihilating any equipment located in the front of the plane.
"Nice work, Mjolnir. Once this town is secured Hammer 1 will divert forces to secure that wreckage."

The rest of the mission goes fairly well, with a few injuries on Hammer 1's side. Looks like Command was right to not send too many forces on this small task.
...well except for the part where two members of Valkyrie wing died but whatever.

I land, grunting slightly as the wheels touch down roughly on the tarmac. I taxi back to the hangar and power down the aircraft before opening the canopy, climbing down, and calling over a mechanic.

He walks over quickly, obviously eager to please. "Yes?"

"Weapon systems are down. Get to it." He nods, and calls over a few other mechanics as I walk to the locker room with my helmet under my arm. As I change, I notice the small laptop sitting on the upper shelf of my locker. I raise an eyebrow, but shrug and ignore it. After changing, I eye it again and decide to pick it up and read the note on the top.

I close my locker and walk out of the locker room, laptop under my arm.
