"Do we need to hit the targets on the ground?"

Raiden Team was in combat before we even got there.

Raiden was fighting for much longer and likely just took on four or five Sabres and their support while running errands for the ground team and picking up some milk at the local supermarket. They could keep fighting but that would cost damage to their aircraft and would likely result in more downtime than they need to spend. Mjolnir can handle it.

NAUC Doing a maneuver to get behind the Jaguar, I fire my cannon and two missiles at it.

The Jaguar goes poof like a cloud of fluffy cotton also you just killed a man.

AWACS: "Good work, looks like that's the last of the air support. You will be notified if something is to come up, in the meantime we will be patching you to the ground forces. Support them as needed."

The AWACS, a girl, then patches your comms to one of the ground communications officers, also a girl.
The conclusion that the entire Kintharian military is the pinnacle of enlightenment as a full-on blast up your ass so fast lesbo-fantasm girl-on-girl-gasm pucker-up d-cup vagina bump doki-doki spit swap roller-coaster your rooster can't even handle would not be entirely unjustified at this junction.

The ground commander can be heard barking orders in the background, the comms officer you were patched to welcomes you coldly.

CO: "Mjolnir, yes? Commander has requested for removal of rocket artillery, sector of 4C in operation area. Go."

"Lefty, you're cleared to go in, I've got your back." I position my Hornet to the right of his wing.

"What's your fuel reading, guys? I'm reading about 1/2 tank. Should be enough."
I look at the F-18 joining to the right of me.

I dive down, and I see a  group of tanks and some rocket artillery. I fire two rockets at them, while observing the rest of the area.

"Affirmative, GC. Mjolinir flight will disable the artillery in no time. Mjolinir 1-1 out."
Obrad moves over to Sector 4C, locking onto the first artillery he sees and firing.

You're Mjolnir 1-1 you dummy

"AWACS, can you set up a tactical datalink and relay any targeting information from the ground forces to us?"

"Hai, requesting datalink with Striker Unit 6 now. Standby... ready."

where is qwepir when we need him

"Thanks." I check my HUD to see that multiple targets on the ground have popped up, I angle my Hornet towards a target and release a JSM at one of the rocket batteries.

I engage another Viper, using my main cannon and sending one heatseeker at him.
The enemy pilot dodges the missile, pulling off a series of high-g maneuvers that make you feel a bit lightheaded just watching it. He swerves around and heads straight at you, gun blazing, only to be picked off by Tyran. You have to pull up fast to dodge the wreckage, but you make it out without a scratch.

I meant the rotary cannon
Then he recieves a sprinkling of pain and tries to limp away from you, letting his ally swoop in and fire on you with their gun for minor damage.

I close in on the wingman and launch another missile. I go for the plane in the rear and launch a full rocket salvo at him at close range.
He attempts to dodge the first missile by dropping flares and diving low to the ground and eats stuff for his trouble. As you close in on the rear plane though, they slam on the brakes, causing you to overshoot.

I target another plane while waiting for God's response for my other action and target and fire with the MMS.
Another sickening display of acrobatics and missed shot later and you begin to suspect whether these pilots are even human.

Enemy forces in the area:
F-2 Viper x5 (too spread out for blah blah)

Enemy forces NOT requiring attention:
Numerous ground emplacements and vehicles

The F-2 is also a really good fighter-bomber.

H

"Thanks Tyron."
I easily engage one of the bandits who is currently loving with Barnstorm is just innocently dropping free fall bombs at the ground vehicles.

If: Flying straight when I am on his tail do: Four second fire of the badass super big 60 rpm cannon thingies (is it UAC?)
If: Not flying straight do: fire main cannon and send a heatseeker package.

guys what happened to NAUC and H.
