I ready two missiles and fire them at the two Jaguars.
The first Jaguar received tunnel vision as it was chasing Hadwell, and pops flares too late. The missile slams into the Jaguar, blasting a large chunk of plane off of it. The pilot ejects, and the jet tumbled to the ground in a way which jets should not.
The second Jaguar had no such preoccupation and easily dodges, dropping some flares along the way. The pilot wheels their craft around and
fires two HSMs in retaliation."forget this guy, if he wants to richard around then he can do that."
Simon banks a hard right turn to try and orient himself in the direction of Jasper's jet. Practically wresting with the stick, he manages to orient himself towards Jasper's plane. This is a massive risk- he has a damaged jet and severely low maneuverability- but he's willing to take it. He locks onto one of the jets tailing Jasper and fires another missile.
This happens unabated and the aircraft tailing Jasper is actually smart enough to pay attention. It avoids the missile, but has to lost its target as a result.
I quickly roll back around, trying to latch onto the tail of the lead Viggen. The engines begin to roar as fuel is injected into the jet pipe. With a little luck, I manage to get a good aspect and place the seeker right on the lead. With the press of a button, an HSM shoots off the pylon and flies straight towards its target.
This happens and the Viggen goes kerflewy.
I lock two JSMs onto one of the Jaguars and fire before banking tightly to get on the tail of one of the Gripens.
The Jaguar is out of flares and only just manages to avoid the first missile, pulling up a little too early on the second and hitting the back of the missile with its roosterpit. Hard. The plane is still in the air but it doesn't look like the pilot is doing too well.

- are there any other allied forces
- does aforementioned facility have any sort of defenses
if this is a munitions factory or storage facility it's gonna get messy

In all seriousness the AWACS neglects to tell you the nature of the facility, and informs you that due to scarcity of resources, you are the only squadron deployed against this force. Intel had suggested that it would not be such a large complement of "forget". The facility unfortunately only has quickly set-up flak defenses due to its otherwise low profile.
I apologize if this isn't very high-quality it's kind of late and I got like four hours of sleep last night and completely neglected to update this.
