Changing Desktop

Ok, this is mostly the same on all versions.

Windows XP

This is a very simple process, just follow these simple steps.

Step 1. Save a picture from Google or if you already have a file make sure its easily located.

Step 2. Right click on your (assumed) default desktop and hit properties.

Step 3. Click on the default window, and choose your desktop. If you do not see it in the list, hit browse and search for it.

Step 4. Pick an option for Stretch or Tile, then press Apply.

Changing your IP address the easy way

This works on all versions of windows above Windows XP, including XP.

Step 1. Go to your start menu and click run, type cmd.
Or go to Task manager, hit new process, and type cmd.

Step 2. Type "ipconfig", keep cmd open since you'll need it later.

i was installing windows 8 and it had an error, but i wiped my hard drive before i began the install

i had to install xp, then windows 7

it wasn't fun

and then i had to do it on my brothers laptop

my desktop has XP.
thats about it

my whole family uses 7 but for my mom (she doesn't care what she gets), but my dad wanted me to use unix when I was a kid, but didn't because I would have gotten confused at school because they use windows

you should add server information also

I think all of my desktops besides my first one have XP, its really easy to use.

you should prolly cross out me too since it was worse than vista back in the day.

i'm using 8.1 on my main PC.

7 on desktop and laptop

I was having a bit of trouble with 8.1 on my new laptop so I downgraded back to 7.

8.1 on laptop xp on a desktop i never use
7 on my family pc

8.1 on laptop xp on a desktop i never use
7 on my family pc
wowe so do i

I still can't believe no one thought to make a Win Mega thread
Because nobody needs one.
