it's the same as going to the start menu except there's more things on the desktop, I don't get why you shouldn't use it

at the VERY LEAST. rename some of those shortcuts
like, you do not need that icon to say "Play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim"
just make it say "Skyrim"
and do similar things for the rest

I would make a joke and add "play" to the start of all of them, or be sensible and rename them.
I'm too lazy to do either of those things.
