New laptop wallpaper. Was a pain in the ass to edit so it fit with my laptop resolution (1280x800)
Pageloss

When a window is maximized, it merges with the top panel.

That sounds/looks really awful...

i like how people just have vague random java scripts and the like they googled open in order to look cool
that basically personifies linux users, doesn't it

How else are people going to know you're a true script kiddie?

Also meow (click for fullsize)

Idc, it gives me more screen space.

I wrote that myself, I didn't copy it. Why is it that people always assume that I took someone else's code. If I got it from google then you try to find it.

And your image is broken.

I wasn't actually referring to you just FYI, sorry if it seemed like I was. I was just replying to his comment 'cuz it does seem true that most people who post Linux desktops have some source code of something open.
Also my image looks fine on my end, but I'll take your word for it and use the thumbnail thing that Foxscotch provided. The image it links to on postimg should still work though, and I use that 'cuz imgur likes to convert stuff to artifact-filled JPG's.

I personally do not like gnome. However lots of people like it.

Is that distro based on arch? It has a similar logo.

GNOME 3's gotten a lot better in more recent iterations (3.12 being the most notable). I used to hate GNOME 3 too.
Parabola is based off of Arch and is meant to be 100% free and open source software. That's the only notable difference between Parabola and Arch.

I have never heard of that distro, is it nice?
If you don't like Arch, you won't like Parabola, especially since you need specific hardware to be able to use Parabola.

?
it's not imgur's fault that the image is a jpg for one thing
but it doesn't matter anyway because my image is exactly the same as yours

Actually imgur does convert PNG images to JPG if they're above 2MB I believe(?). Most of my desktop posts are at 2MB or above so imgur converts them. Thus why I've been looking for alternatives to imgur for desktop posts. But my original was a PNG (the one on postimg). The one you posted was JPG so I guarantee that was imgur's doing.

What's wrong with proprietary closed-source software?
Do you like to edit your source code or something?

oh. I just figured my extension did it. still no artifacts, though

it's proprietary

I would get rid of the recycle bin if i knew how
