I don't use gaming journalism. It's always been pretty pointless in my eyes. I'm pretty sure it all devolves into clickbait eventually.

I got my definition from a screencap of /v/ on the #Gamergate hashtag. It said "This is not about the victimization of women, it's about corruption in gaming journalism"

video games are really big and very important to a lot of people
hahaha

video games are important to me personally and i think not having a reliable way to read about games you want to buy is a big problem for a multi-billion dollar industry

i don't read into that kind of stuff, i watch people play it and see if it looks good
and steam reviews are coo

metacritic is the answer
well, where do you think metacritic gets its ratings?

Wouldn't expect journalism to not reflect the community.
bad community=bad journalism

I was under the impression that metacritic had critic scores as well as user reviews
aka use the user reviews score

you can say "it has a bad community" to anything. literally, any online or offline community that isn't like a charity or something

because that' the only kind of bad part of the gaming community, right?
