I see what he's saying, but it has nothing to do with this "real world" where people who shout slurs on the street are somehow respected or dignified people that we have to learn how to handle.

I'm sure some of it is legitimate DID but I feel like most of it is teenagers who want attention. Why are all their headmates quirky and interesting? Why is it glorified? Isn't this onset by mental trauma?

case in point people think racism ended in 1964. aren't you like 13?

It's not even skizo, they're loving pretending to have the condition and it's absolutely repulsive

I don't think there's necessarily anything "repulsive" about pretending to have a disease, if you aren't actually getting anything for it (besides maybe some extra attention)
but it might mean that you actually do have some other disease

and I think that lying to other people for your own gain might be a sign of other problems too

whoops sorry could you repeat that GRANDPA i couldn't hear it over my YOUTH and CONTROLLABLE BOWELS

it's not what they're getting from it, it's that there's a pretty big community based around pretend mental disorders and it's loving stupid

i don't understand the mindset of pretending to have OCD, glorifying your "disorder", and then calling people ableist because they won't play along
