Absolutely every computer I've used that was made after 2004 has a 16:10 or 16:9 monitor.
If anything those are "normal" compared to 4:3 monitors, unless you're blind in one eye. In which case, sorry, you're not normal.

I've seen tons of 4:3 monitors but it's normally at businesses and my school. But really anyone using a 4:3 monitor at home is a total pleb.
