we already kind of have one, its just screencaps of funny things said here
wait where?

what other ways are there
I kinda whish Night would awnser this.

As far as I know trans people fall into two categories:
1. People with gender identity disorder who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder professionally.
2. People who say they are trans for attention.
Same with every other mental illness and orientation that tumblr likes to pick up.

That makes tumblr sound like those internet self diagnostics.

trust me, a lot of people there actually believe that self diagnosis is healthy

especially with serious mental disorders, oh self diagnosis is just the BEST in that situation

As much as a lot of tumblr stuff is kinda bullstuff (otherkin etc.) I feel like trans is something that should be a little more accepted and not thought of as a 'disorder'.

does everyone there think they have cancer then?

they are the cancer

I don't understand this at all.
What next, depression should be "accepted and not thought of as a disorder"?

You basically have three options:
  • 1. There's nothing wrong.
  • 2. There's something mentally wrong.
  • 3. There's something physically wrong.
It seems that most people have gone with the second option.
If you went with the first, then trans people would be expected to do nothing, as it is a non-issue for them.
If it was the third, there wouldn't be so much of a difference, but it'd still be a 'disorder'.

Depression and other illnesses are something that cause you actual detriment. Feeling like you are a man or a woman inside doesn't hurt you mentally or physically.

If that's true then what are trans people and trans activists getting so upset about?

People who don't accept the fact that they want to change their physical gender and harass them about it?

ok, now change "harass them about it" to "refer to them by their assumed gender which is accurate for 90% of the population, then they have a hissy fit" and you're correct.

But if gender identity isn't a big deal can't they just hide it in places they think they'll be ridiculed for it?

that's tumblr, not trans people who actually do get harassed

no, that's multiple, personal anecdotal experiences.
