it's not a disease. many people are proud of it. i can imagine some people would rather be cis though, to avoid getting murdered or whatever, but such a neurological feat probably won't be possible for a while

if it's a mental illness then that means the "illness" itself causes suffering or makes your life harder to live

it's really people's reactions to it that cause that, so it's not an illness at all

i mean yeah it will make you feel weird about your body but if you're in a supportive environment and you know that you can get an operation when you're 18 it's probably not really??
