I mean, first, I never claimed he was jealous. Anyway, the reason most people pull out for not liking apple products is that they are overpriced for the product. The only reason to hold it against someone for buying apple products is that you don't like that they're spending that much money on the product, since it really doesn't affect you at all if they're using an apple product or not. As far as sports cars go, that one definitely seemed like a jab at the wealthy. There's no reason to dislike someone specifically for driving a sports car unless you're an eco-enthusiast with a blood lust for people who don't drive Teslas or Priuses, so I assume he's referring to people that are overprivileged.

People should be able to spend their money however they want to. If they want to buy a thousand carrots, good for them. If they wanna donate to charity, fantastic. Political campaign? Sure. Kids? Sure. Whatever they want, it's their money.
