I respect christians and stuff but i have an enormous passionate hate for christians like that

the really controlling and psychotic ones are the worst people to live on this planet

get the forget away from her and live with your father, i have been with insane bible thumpers and it gets loving bad, not like in the "oohhh i cant express my athiest beliefs without bitching and i have to go to church every week" way, i mean like abuse, screaming bible verses, forcing kids into christian schools, going to church 3 times a week (even cancelling important appointments and even neglecting to take someone to the hospital) for church and non stop ranting about how christianity is the only way and all non believers must be shunned. i knew these nuts who burned a wiccan's belongings because they wouldnt convert, i have no clue what happened to those people but hopefully they were sent away

these people started with just ramming their beliefs into your throat before they went to loving extremes

I have never met anyone from any religion who acts like that.

Why should it matter?
If you can just take the parts you like and discard the ones you don't, then you can discard that part of the Quran.
And besides, I doubt you'd discard the creation story or the ten commandments because they're in the Old Testament.

i have met both christians and athiests who overreact but the annoying athiests were more richards than psychos (not saying all christians are psychos or they are psychotic purely from their religion)

we discard the things god told us to discard. Like animal sacrificing and other things (that I cant remember cos I havent read the old testament in awhile). I have never read the Quran,  but does it say anywhere to discard that part?

homoloveuality is still controversial to me. Ive been told that jesus said it was wrong but have yet to hear or read that passage.

not really, some muslim fathers kill their children if they loose faith. Their bible actually tells them to do it.

I know a woman who has been chased all around the Philippines because she is the daughter of a chief and converted to Christianity. So yeah her family has been jumping islands trying to find and kill her for like 15 years.

if I was OPs mom and had they same love for him that every mother has for their son, id flip my stuff too. Because I just learned that the time I spend with him is onlh temporary and that sooner tha  I think I will no longer ssee him... ever.
