It still hasn't been officially confirmed.
A lot of things have popped up on the Steam Database but haven't actually been true or were just fake rumors, i can't really believe that kind of evidence i am afraid. :/

I was just running around in one of the free roam missions killing some dudes when suddenly a loving spider tank pops out of the sky.

so I start fighting it, im only level 4 and this giant ass tank is trying to shred me to bits, and then suddenly 3 other level 4's show up and were all trying to fight it.

I Threw a grenade that seems to be like an emp at the thing and just go and start shooting at its legs with a shotgun.
we didn't kill the boss before it ran, but we got it to nearly a quarter dead.

This game is loving awesome.

The game so far from what I've seen is CoD as a rpg with elements mixed in from games such as Halo, Borderlands, Fallout NV and Warframe.

also as a titan your melee is just punching things in the face and it has like commando pro tracking.
