Anyone know if this game is remotely playable by your lonesome, like Borderlands, or is it more of an MMO where you absolutetly need friends to survive?
All story missions/patrols can be played solo. If you want to play a strike mission you have to play with a team, afaik.
This sums it up pretty well, I have 2 Warlocks, one for playing with Flat and his friend and another that I solo, both are viable and tons of fun.
I wont miss out on any special items or such if I dont purchase it today what with this event going on and such, will I?stuff like that happening in WoW made me super sad.Either way, super psyched for this game. Can't wait to play it.
You'd get early access to the vanguard armory which isn't a big deal and I'm pretty sure it only applies to pre-orders so it's probably too late for that (and they're just uncommon rarity stuff, aka nowhere near the best armor/the armor you'd want). The only other thing which would again be pre-order based, would be the Red Sparrow from Gamestop which is the equivalent of the first vehicle you can buy. Other than anything the events might hand out, I think you'll be fine and there's no reason to rush for the game.
