Vault of Glass is out
The alts are loose

so one of the first few teams managed to complete it and one person alone had 1100 Kills, 800 Assists and 280 Deaths.
I imagine the vault is going to be literal hell.

The public event part sounds fun.

I was doing a Lvl18 Vanguard Strike on Mars and we got to the tank, after dying and taking forever to kill the tower guards. We notch it's health down just a little and one of the guys quits out of frustration. Even though I figured out where its crit spots were. The other guy sits back, and I assumed he did this so if I died I could still come back, so I had no problems. I took one of those rocket shooter vehicles and maneuvered my way away from its 1 hit tank blast. Finally took it down after what felt like 15 minutes. The other guy grabs his sparrow and we head down the canyon and "LOL SORRY CONNECTION PROBLEM, BACK TO ORBIT."

I know how that feels, happened a few times during separate strikes for me, but fortunately for me since I was in a fireteam with Flat and his friend I could just rejoin. Hopefully this hotfix will fix that issue.

Yeah it was weird how that happened.
My crappy internet caused a problem similar to that when we did the final mission, meaning I nearly missed the end of the game.

also me and my friend were farming a cave on earth for rare/legendary drops, and while we were standing in place to farm it, a "Defend the Warsat" event started.
It landed RIGHT ON TOP of us and killed us ._.

holy stuff this is amaZINNG

I cant honestly be the only one noticing Bungie still makes references to the number 7.

Anyone want to do some strikes? I'm trying to get my vanguard to level 2 to get some new armor.

At least on Xbone, I've noticed that Exo are really really popular.

Also I just hit 20!

woo, I got a Exotic Weapon Bounty lead, and I'm only Vanguard rank one.
Now I just have to complete a weekly Heroic strike.

yayyyyy.

Wow, so when I hit 20, it felt like the game opened up. I read an article about Destiny saying that it's far to soon to make judgments. I feel like too many people approach the game wrong. It needs to be approached as an MMO. When you do this, things make sense. It may not be your cup of tea, but it will make sense. I, for one, love this game. I just got to 21, and cannot wait to get some Legendary and Exotic gear. They look so kickass and fun, plus some of the gear looks like it's extremely beneficial.

This quote from an editor for Polygon is exactly how I feel about Destiny's reviews thus far:

Like if this was a single player game or even a game like Borderlands in which the only real updates would be DLC since it was a finished game I'd understand, and for some reason reviewers are taking it this way when in fact it's being released the same way MMOs are built upon and the scores are really hurting Destiny's image.

Pretty much what I've been saying, the reviews genuinely piss me off because they don't seem to understand this and yet they're the one's reviewing the games giving Destiny a bad rep which it doesn't deserve.

some of the exotic gear is REALLY interesting
theres a Exotic shotgun and Exotic Fusion Rifle that can be Equipped as Primaries for some reason.

I want Bad JuJu and The Third Man. I fell in love with pulse rifles after getting a rare one that has the Outlaw perk, which is speeding up my reloads considerably after getting a precision kill. I actually just love that perk in general. Bad JuJu has a better version of it which reloads instantly and has a damage boost after just a kill. Which is loving amazing.
