1280 x 1024 isn't good enough?

1920x1080 is the standard atm

course it's still a page stretch for me since this window is using half of a 1080p screen

why the hell would i need such a big monitor lmao.

1366x768 is the most common resolution atm

so uh yeah. still between s4 and nexus 5. can't afford others.

then get the nexus 5. Don't get the samsung , touchwiz is awful.

Dude, you will get used to TouchWiz.
I own a Galaxy Tab S and I quickly got used to the interface.

If I had a choice between any of those phones I would go with the S4

one of my friends got the nexus 5 on the last weeks of school, and I can't tell you how jealous I am. that phone kicks serious ass and looks amazing. everything was beautiful about it and the battery life wasn't even a problem for him, and that's good considering that he slacks off in class and uses it constantly.

but once he uses it for a while, it will start slowing down quite a bit. Get pure, stock Android (with instant updates also), and you'll get an amazingly quick phone. And you don't get some over saturated Samsung display.

That wasn't an option... he said S4.

Even if TouchWiz looks terrible, just get a different launcher if you absolutely need to. While it won't solve the problem with overusing RAM, at least you get more customization.
And if THAT just isn't enough, just root your phone and get a different rom, but keep in mind that would be voiding any and all warranties, so do it at your own risk.

Or bypass having to do that by getting stock android on the nexus 5...

He already said he didn't like the look of the Nexus 5 already...

um touchwiz isnt just the launcher. its the whole interface.
