I would join but I've gotten really rusty with nation RPs.

Well you're not gonna get any better if you don't join and try 'em, so it's best to play and try and improve along the way.

I'll most likely be joining this.

Y'all should join this.  It seems we're all small and spread apart enough to not be of harm to one another.  You have millennia to learn the ropes.

This is gonna be awesome.

The Ivēxür Erin XIV wakes to the golden sun pouring in through the windows.  He stretches, and exits to his bedroom balcony, overlooking the lands to the east as the sun rises over the mountains, into the valley below.  The city Vålderesk, an ancient city that once belonged to the Ezbataens, sat amongst the promised land that the prophet of Luna'i, Farsus had fortold.

The sun steeps over the mountains; few below stir at the coming light.  At the far fringes of the town, farmers and millers are already at work.  The birds begin their daily routine, providing songs for the day.  The warm summer wind tells of a good day ahead.

The temple of the moon in the town stands taller than the surrounding houses.  The lamps are being put out at the coming of morning.  The monks of the temple can be heard faintly in the distance.

The Ivēxür looks over at the city more, and then looks to the east, where the sun rises.  Vålderesk, once the capitol of the heathen Ezbataens, overlooks a fertile valley.  The sons and daughters of Luna'i have hidden in the mountains for centuries from those who had once been their oppressors.

A knock is heard from the door to the royal bedroom.

A male servant requests to enter, and they enter by the Ivēxür's consent.  They bow, and then dress the Ivēxür in a gown for breakfast, and escort him downstairs, leaving the doors open for two maidservants that enter to attend for the Ivak.

Later that day, the Ivēxür addresses the commander of the army, Novek Lieucien, and tells him of plans to annex the fertile lands to the east.

Both Accepted.

RP has officially started. Live long and prosper.

Anagaea wide:

Huge meteor showers are spotted over all civilizations. Citizens stare in awe of the beauty. Some begin pondering as to why such a thing would happen. Perhaps they will never know.

Hey uh is there a resource map that we could use
I'd like to know what's nearby that I could potentially take advantage of.

Currently working on different maps. It'll be a while.

The King's son, 12, wakes up from the movement of his younger sister to the spot of moving glowing lights in the sky. The son alerts his father, who is sleeping in his quarters.

The King takes his son to watch the spectacle, and soon, addresses his citizens that the falling stars most likely have something behind it, and he assures them that the Gods are not angry at the nation (after some distress from religious leaders). Anyone who has a mystical or scientific answer to the falling stars, with evidence behind it, shall be rewarded. He mentions, heartily, that if they never know, that it was at the very least a beautiful sight. Scribes write this down and spread the speech across the nation, where elders or other scribes of villages and cities shall read the speech and tell the speech to those who cannot read.

I would like to note that the use of Iron in this age where everyone else has bronze is kinda... over powered.
I doubt anyone had that type of tech. This is no where near that level of technology. >:(

The Peluna'i see the spectacle and claim it is a beautiful rain sent from the Saintly Mother.  The city is filled with the faithful, who cry out, burning incense and offering up sacrifices of goats.

Dozens of stars shift from their place in the sky and fall to the trodden earth beneath. Virlindans everywhere remark the sight. Scholars pour over their books and papers in search of meaning, and fewer still attempt to document the event.

In the central opening of Roa, the King himself appears before a large gathering of people to speak.

Hark, my brothers and sisters! The light of the Goddess showers from above! The heavens are splitting apart to create new skies for us to reclaim! Our time is laid before us! Let this day mark the beginning of a new era of prosperity for all of Virlinde!

A farmer from the poorer areas of the nation comes to the capital only with a pack mule and a cart carrying a few necessities for the travel, that are smoldered with ash. Soldiers, laden in leather and bronze armor, hands on their hilts, inform the King that a old farmer claims that he has one of the fallen stars in his possession after it impacted and destroyed one of his fields.

(void if we are not allowed to have people into of meteorites.)

People in Galaumia take this to be a prophecy from the gods. More temples are built.

Erstens see this as a sign from the gods and build more shrines and temples to the moon god.

The people of Avalonia see the fire from the heavens and marvel at the wrath of the gods.  Then the High Priest of the area, a member of the Avalonian Council, declares that it is not a sign of the anger of the gods, but of their favor.  According to the High Priest, the fire from the heavens moved eastward indicating that the gods favor a military campaign in that direction.  Several deer have been sacrificed to procure further favor, and multiple prophets have verified what the High Priest has said.

The Avalonian Council has thus moved along with the ensuing military/religious fervor and called for a mustering of the army from its various garrisons across Avalonia.  Hundreds of warriors have arrived from across Avalonia, galvanized by strong religious urging by local priests and shamans; and it is believed that the various settlements and towns can and will offer up around 1,000 men and over 2,000 horses for the campaign.  The attack will take the form of a large raid meant to subjugate and annex several smaller sized settlements which it is believed will likely surrender upon seeing the size of the Avalonian army pitted against them.

Scouts have revealed that these peoples military forces are few in number, are mainly infantry, wear scale armor, and use large, oval shields and short swords - all of bronze.  There are relatively few archers.

King Lotavik is awoken from his slumber to view the spectacle. The population of the Kingdom, mostly unreligious until now, begin questioning the spiritual state of the nation.
