The monthly meeting of the Assembly takes place, and they discuss a few things. However, a notable thing they discuss is the need to centralize the government to its more rural areas. This is usually planned out by reinstating the local governments and strengthening the economy, as the west is largely rural and not-centralized to the Atenisian government and its morals. They also discuss the need to strengthen trade routes internally and externally.
Discussions of the actions that are necessary to take control of one of the oldest forts in the nation, Ισχυρή προστασία (a fort that doesn't really live up to its name, as scouts report), that uses hired mercenaries and bandits to do the will of the controlling (now) ex-Legion nobleman. These ideas are presented to the higher house, the Council, where they immediately tell the elementary Consul-General that he needs to take a plentiful force of 750, well-trained Legionaries (1/4 bowmen/horseback, 1/4 spear/javelin, 1/2 medium-armored bronze swordsmen) to take back the rouge noble's fort (and his controlled areas).
In other military news:
The Legionaries are trained as the best they can be. The new elementary-general is now inserting reforms into the Legion, primarily in what age that soldier has to be (now under 45), the disbandment of the requirement to purchase their own armor (which was slowly abolished from the installment of the Atenisian Council), and the elimination of any citizen social class in the military (which was nearly abolished, except for the "habit" of poorer folk to have lower ranks and the richer folks to be the leaders): everyone was equals at start, unless of course they trained to be an effective officer or have proven themselves in battle. Mostly all ranks are kept the same, and the establishment of a more stricter doctrine, which declares order, training, and discipline as the primary "key words" of the Legion, is installed.
