The Virlindan army is met by surrounding tribal resistance.
The surrounding tribes hastily raise up a pathetic force of 960 levied spearmen under the command of Jodocus.
The barbarians stupidly charge forward, obviously being under the command of someone inexperienced in battle. Virlindan swordsmen quickly begin routing enemy spearmen taking minimal casualties. Cavalry then sweeps around the flanks and overwhelm their forces, all the while archers are laying down fire. The routed barbarians begin a final assault before being met by the same Virlindan swordsmen. Jodocus and his guard are all slaughtered. The remaining 221 barbarians flee the battlefield, maybe to organize once more.
The Virlindan army of 1,100 takes 177 casualties. A decisive victory.
Local settlements becoming under the hand of Atenisia begin to levy forces. These men appear to have great experience in battle. They are led by a man who would never reveal his name. The enemy made a fatal mistake near the beginning of a battle, underestimating Ateni forces due to them being hidden by a slight decline of a hill. The hidden forces swept around the enemy's left flank, dealing a devastating blow. All were routed except for the general's guard, who put up fierce resistance fighting down to 3 out of 120 men. General no-name was captured and brought to the Ateni commanding officer and is now at his will.
The Ateni army of 1,520 takes 324 casualties. A decisive victory.
The general of Ateni forces has gained a massive amount of respect from his men.
Ersten forces eerily meet no resistance.
King Lotavik and his court begin discussing plans to explore East along the coasts. Men from the town guard are being hand selected to go on this expedition.
