Acid usually lasts for 6+ hours and when your mind is flipping out about everything going on it's using a lot of energy, where you get come downs. It's best to be as chill as possible when you take acid (unless you're going to a concert or something) and music has a MASSIVE influence over you.
I can't tell you how many times I've been tripping with friends and people start sketching out and slipping into a bad trip, then gone "oh wait what songs playing," found out the playlist had just changed to a really energetic and rough song. As soon as you change the music back to chilled vibes everything changes, both your feels and vision are heavily impacted by it.
Acid (I find) is somewhat like playing with fire, it's possible to burn yourself but if you just keep relaxed and positive it is so warming and good omg.
With something as delicate as that, loud jarring sounds (eg. dubstep) will send you straight to bad vibe city.

Don't think too much about songs/genres you like or dislike, when you're tripping music is experienced differently. You wont concentrate too much on the song itself like lyrics or anything, it's all background that creates a pleasant setting to be in. When you're tripping you listen to music with your whole body and its forgetin' mint.

I usually dismiss notions of hallucinations from weed but I have semi hallucinated once before.
All my closest friends and I go to a 3 day folk music fest every year and it's always the highest point of the year for me. 3 years ago we got some buds off a friend and that was the strongest weed I've ever had, after like an hour an a half of laying in a tent with my head out the door in the rain looking at the sky through the leaves I started to see an almost marioesque maze of green vines forming a moving image in my mind. It was strange, definitely not like an acid or shrooms trip but it was more my minds eye that was tripping out.
I fell asleep soon after.

One strain that someone we know brings over tends to cause this for me. Usually makes me sick as well due to the fact I get motion sick really easy.

i remember i took a phat hit of some "mountain weed" from a beaker bong once, and i visually tripped harder than i ever have on acid... rly it was probably the hardest ive "tripped" ever. like acid just makes me feel really really good, with some slight visual hallucinations

whatever the forget i smoked that morning gave me the spins, the tinglies, the visual hallucinations, the auditory hallucinations, the whole 9 yards. my friends still to this day say that it wasnt laced but...
