I think your friends probably came about this behavior because of things occurring to them outside school. They turned to drugs because they needed a crutch. There are many people you find that are perfectly normal and sociable and successful that use drugs. It's like fandoms. The worst of them come through because they are the far more "vocal" of the users.

That's a high school stoner mentality. It's a phase- like being a scene kid or something. When we see kids like that in their forgetin weed socks being dumb we always shake our heads. Those aren't drug users like you're describing. Those are the 420 blaze it punks that'll poke smot and giggle for a few years. 14-17 year old guys that only smoke weed aren't at any risk. Nothing to worry about.

also not to mention a friend of mine who does a good amount of psychedelics only took two and was wayyy forgeted and didn't even remember the entire school day.

thought weed sorta diminished the trip/can bring it back? I honestly don't know, I've only done a minute amount of research into it besides talking with friends about it.
