Author Topic: Blockland-like text/graphics generator?  (Read 2798 times)

Has this ever been done, which will create text replicating the font of the logo?

No, but really, there's nothing unique about the logo at all.
It's impact font, with black letters, and a white/off-white border. Any decent image editting program can do it

The text on the main menu is also transparent. I don't know the percentage of it's transparency though.

I just wanted to get a quick example out, I didn't really care to make it perfect
When I get home from work I'll probably make a PHP generator and I can throw in settings like opacity

Hurray :D

From what I saw in ..\Blockland\base\client\ui\btnPlayer_n.png the transparency is 166

The generator is almost done, I'm just fine-tuning it.

EDIT: Well, it's done. I couldn't get opacity to work, either on text or background, so it's just solid color on solid background.
It doesn't round square corners like an image-editor does, so it looks slightly less pretty in that aspect.

It was nice practice though since this was my first time using PHP's image functions

I've always wondered what that sky is behind the text, is it from Blockland or is it just some random picture?

I think its just image editing so it can transition into the white
