while religion may slow down progress
^ this word
how the hell did you guys turn a 10 second video into a religious argument?
people have to argue because they feel so confident in their belief, that they have to forcibly prove it at every turn
If you look at which countries are contributing technological advancements, they're generally the ones with less religious people, while the super conservative countries contribute little, if any
The majority of Americans (73%) identify themselves as Christians and about 20% have no religious affiliation.
are the riots and petrol bomb attacks in Northern Ireland because of this?
Not because of creationism, 99% of people are creationist in the country. It used to be more of a political reason but now people riot in an attempt to prove that Catholicism is better than Protestantism or vice versa. It's pretty stupid.

I'm going to throw this out for like...the third time because I'm either ignored or get a stupid answer like, "Well...atheists don't have to know everything like you Christians do."After all, "Mass cannot be created or destroyed." but no matter what viewpoint you look at (whether by logic or supernatural), mass obviously had to be created somewhere or else time is infinite (which is neither logical nor supernatural). If secular scientists don't have an answer, then a supernatural existence is the most reasonable assumption.
