It has nothing to do with belief systems or religion. "This is the answer, don't question it" is a bad train of thought in any case, even secular cases. If you condemn the act of finding an answer to a question, then an answer to that question will not be found. If no one searched for a cure to disease, then we wouldn't have found a cure to disease. You don't need a cited source for that, it's a purely logical conclusion.

There's a thing called an educated guess. You use your current knowledge of things to make a theory on something else using only facts.

For example, the chances of someone with such a closed mindset, someone who doesn't care how things work because they think that a god makes everything happen how it does, making any sort of major scientific tool like a microscope, is astronomically small since
