like I've said before choosing jobs is a choice. that you make. you consciously choose to take a dangerous job. you can't pin it on some gender bull bc YOU chose the job despite the fact that you were not required to do so
You really think that people can just grab a degree and set out and become a doctor or something like it's a choice 100% of the time? We take the jobs that are made available to us by the education system. If your education system is conditioning people to be a certain way (either by curriculum or student population) you're going to have limited options.
also a personal issue. if you are too much of a baby to seek help that's your own problem.
doctor-patient confidentiality means nobody has to know unless you tell them so it's not even like you can whine about getting made fun of for it or whatever
1. forget you, seriously, your apathy has jumped from ignorance to insensitivity.
2. Most of today's male youth are expected to be a certain way that entails being a provider, being a protector, being strong, ect. If you're not any of these things you're less than human and you'll get picked on relentlessly. Most of these people are under 18 and therefore have to go through their parents / ect who are also known to place the same kind of norms on their children.
Yeah, these are personal issues, but when it's a
repeated archetype in a single gender with prevalence as high as 80% there is very
obviously a background issue causing it. I don't understand why you can't make this connection. It's like saying all women with eating disorders are just babies who can't cope with their personal issues. Disgusting.
you didn't even try to explain the homicide thing though
I shouldn't have to. Have you watched TV recently? Almost all of the people getting killed / being a victim of violence are all male. Media is only a single explanation too. I implore you to actually try and delve into it yourself.
that's different. not being hired for a job you want is one thing. but if you apply for a job and whine when you get it, then that's a problem on your endyou could work at walmart or mcdonalds or best buy or anything. you could work in waste management if you put aside your shame. you have plenty of options that aren't an immediate danger to your health, so if you get one that is, it's on you
it could also be said that the reason there are more industrial accidents with men is because they're less cautious. but of course, making assumptions like that based on vague statistics is wrong when it's not convenient for you, so nevermind I guess
Hey buddy, people need money, and jobs with higher hazard offer more.
