No, actually
Thanks for asking

I used to play Minecraft back when it was in alpha. Holy stuff I thought that nether update was amazing.
Sadly the game is just so boring. After you've done everything ever, it starts to just, lose the fun it once had. Mods kept it alive for me for awhile, but now even mods are boring.

Once you got over the land generation, Minecraft was always boring.

Minecraft's interesting terrain bits are all in the most boring biomes

i wish i could experience the joy of repetitive gameplay once again.

runescape used to be the bomb. but now i only see it as constant clicking
x99 stock 200% damage bob-omb only fights in smash bros used to be hilarious for me
i could drive around in gta/driver for hours without getting bored, now i can barely do it for an hour in GTA 5

All of my this.

I am taking all of the this I have and throwing it at you.

Minecraft sucks now because the new level generator sucks.
The launcher lets you use older versions.
With that I found my first world ever and I had fun times :^)

i've been lucky enough to have all the games i played while young be completely out of my memory by now so they're as fresh as they once were before

in the case of minecraft, modpacks grabbed me for a very long time but nowadays i just can't get any fun out of it

which of the final fantasies available on steam is better, 3, 7, or 8?

7 is 7. it's legendary

but also 3 is legendary.

i'd say get 7

The best way to play Minecraft is to stop for a year, then set up a server with your friends and kill all the "bosses" you can, do all the new stuff, then abandon it again.

i feel the same about blockland. i havnt played the game in months

Vanilla Minecraft was never fun unless you played adventure/challenge maps with friends; the default sandbox mode is very dull from a gameplay standpoint. Its an interesting experience don't get me wrong, but this is one of those instances where being interesting doesn't translate into being fun.
