Author Topic: Tony Stewart hit and killed a fellow racer at a local track  (Read 6806 times)

I'm not a big fan of Nascar, but I just heard that Tony Stewart hit and killed a guy on purpose while racing Sprint Cars at Canandaigua Motorspots Park. I found this out because it's a local dirt track I visit pretty often. People are saying Stewart was arrested and the other driver was pronounced DOA. Praying this isn't true because that's really terrible news, especially considering I knew the guy that he hit.

UPDATE: Police confirmed Kevin Ward Jr. was dead on arrival and there are no pending charges on Stewart.

Tony Stewart is the only driver I know so I figured without him NASCAR would be nothing.

Tony Steward =/= NASCAR. Besides, Earnhardt is where its at. Senior that is, Jr. isn't near as good.

you can say that guy's life drifted past

no seriously that's loving horrible, my condolences to the dead driver.

jesus i thought he was like retiring or something this is not what i expected

I like how the subject of this thread is about the racecar driver's career coming to an end instead of the guy who he killed. Says a lot about the priorities of the average person who actually enjoys Nascar.
