Tony Stewart hit and killed a fellow racer at a local track

I like how the subject of this thread is about the racecar driver's career coming to an end instead of the guy who he killed. Says a lot about the priorities of the average person who actually enjoys Nascar.

Not really. That guy's dead now, his future isn't really a mystery or worth talking about. It's much more concerning what's going to happen to the person responsible for his death.

Haha his parents must be happy now.
It's not about the dead guy himself so that's cool right?
you're really scraping the bottom of the barrel now. yes, it is entirely okay to make jokes about tony stewart. how could that even be considered insensitive?

If you would watch the video, you would see that he walked into the middle of the track.

like really who does that? the cars go extremely fast.

He even sidestepped.

I was talking about the dead guy's parents and saying how it wasn't about the dead guy itself.
But okay.

what?? kevin ward's parents have nothing to do with it

what?? kevin ward's parents have nothing to do with it
As an example I made a lame joke about how his parents are happy now he's dead (o so funy)

Then I mocked the same joke and your logic by saying it's not about the dead guy itself so it's completely fine to say that.

except that joke is still about his death. joking about tony stewart's name is unrelated to what happened

ee you're right I guess

I live like almost right next to the MIS (Michigan International Speedway) so I've always learned a little bit about these races through osmosis. It's probably gonna be a case of whether or not he meant to hit him, and then he's prosecuted for either murder or manslaughter. He may get off easy because as there is evidence of, he was standing in the middle of the track.

I think this is pretty much confirmation that Ward is dead.

"according to the Ontario (N.Y.) County Sheriff’s Dept. Ward was pronounced dead on arrival at Thompson Hospital about 45 minutes after being struck."

Australian "news" doesn't usually look at NASCAR incidents.

Oh, sorry.

Did you read what I quoted? And then read what he was talking about?
He made a joke about Earnhardt Sr.s death

Oh, oops. I only looked at the quote he was replying to,  my mistake
