ok why were there cops in walmart waiting to shoot a black guy?

ok why were there cops in walmart waiting to shoot a black guy?
they were camping waiting for the first black guy they saw so they could shoot him

I'm sure he got the airsoft inside the Walmart.

And why would you be so eager to kill a person who is toting a gun that looks exactly like those in the store?

the cops probably arent familiar with walmart toy guns, and they were responding to a call saying someone was pointing a gun at people

i still dont think that justifies the shooting because it was still a toy gun but yeah

depends, was said walmart toy gun an airsoft with no orange tip? Was said orange tip blocked, covered/obscured. Was said man brandishing said toy gun like a real one. Is said toy gun brightly colored or looks like the real deal.

Tons of fishy on both sides if you ask me.

we'll probably never know what really happened though, unless this turns into another trayvon martin thing

they probably won't show the footage

Iirc it was an airsoft or BBgun, which either do or don't have distinctive tips. The one I had didn't but it was obviously fake.
Still, your preemptive years of training tells you to immediately shoot even when shots have not been reported and no one is hurt?

Seems particularly fishy in the case of the police to me.

and they didn't just leave him injured or impair him and arrest him, the cop full out killed him.

they saw a weapon and shot. which turned out not to be a weapon. tough stuff. dont be stupid and wave toy guns around at a walmart.

shoot to stop the threat. they arent trained to injure, they are trained to hit the target

this is half a step up from when a kid opened his front door up for police with a wiimote in his hand and got killed.
