Lasers are less overdone than guns, yes, but it's just their way to change something or bring things into the future because future = cool.

I'd personally dig a CoD set in the WWI/WWII era if it wasn't just version of Modern Ops: Ghost Warfare with older guns. I know there's many old war games like this, but much less than games that take place in the current time or future.

this didn't make much sense at all but im assuming you said that the tsunami was paper thing and didn't move the player

My guess is that there's the same amount of pseudoscience behind it to justify lasers and jetpacks too, it's not really done anyway either. At-least we're getting water, which is cool.

Unfortunately although they did something different (for CoD) still reminds me of other games.

Wont be picking this one up right away. I got Ghosts as a gift and I never play it because its terrible. I thought BLOPS 2 would be bad but I actually love the multiplayer in that games. Plus I can get into games super quick unlike ghosts

I'm rather optimistic about this one. I loved MW2 Multiplayer and I really enjoy the Blops II Multiplayer. This one looks really fluid, by the looks of the multiplayer trailer.
