yo forums i've got a question regarding school lockers

ok so like it's come to my attention that not all schools make you pay to have a locker and i'm just curious as to how many of you have/had to buy one (and for how much)

here at my school we have to pay like $7 at the start of the school year for a locker and the school doesn't have to warn you if they change your lock

we just have to buy the locks, not from the school ofcourse.

I rather just leave everything home and only take the essentials like paper/pencils in my BP

at my school they're five dollars for a locker
but sophomores get crappy out of the way lockers that cause you to be late (or like 5 seconds from being late) if you try to go to them between most classes

at my school we don't have lockers and we get to carry around a backpacks from class to class B)
but last year at my middle school we were forced to pay 5 dollars for a locker and it just wasted time
if we were caught with our backpacks we would get in-school suspension

We had to pay about 10 bucks as surety (or bond idk) and if you didn't break the whole thing you get it back after you're done with school.

Everyone's forced to buy a locker each year at my school. I've never actually used one since I got permission to bring my school laptop home with me.

here it's the freshmen who have lockers in a completely separate building that you can't go to during lunch or before school. a lot of kids wound up late bc of that

my middle school was kinda like that (for the one year i was there) only we were only allowed to carry these big cloth binder things

We only have to buy them if we dont return the locks at the end of the year. I think its $5. So no we do not have to buy our locks.

Both my highschool and junior never had personal lockers. The only lockers were in the gym and they were only small enough to store PE clothes. The bigger lockers were only for temporary storage. Every thing else had to be carried on your back.

I'm homeschooled, so that would make no sense.

i always carry all of my stuff in a messenger bag. my classes never really gave me a lot of textbooks anyways, only 2 of my 8 classes gave out textbooks (and only one of them actually required it)
