That joke has already been made.

Anybody notice how when the puppet has to "give them life" he turns them into animatronics, specifically the older ones, is this hinting at something?
My theory goes as so,
Way back at the beginning, (FNAF2) the animatronics were introduced in the new style of restaurants.
The puppet was possessed (or hijacked) and went on to change the rest of the animatronics like him, reprogramming them to kill everyone.
Because of this, the diner shut down in FNAF2
They made a reboot of the diner in FNAF1, and simply fixed the old ones due to the old budget. Because these were never programmed again, they come to kill you too. Evidently, when the phone guys says "I'll probably take the next shift, it will be safer if I become the night guard" hence the phone guy in FNAF1.

Now some say, where did the original suits come from? The original suits came from another diner the phone guy in FNAF2 doesn't mention the name of. He says, the "old place", which may or may not mean another completely new one. The bite of '87 can also be in the same year. The reboot could've easily happened during the same year, iirc, it said 10/__/87, giving it two months to start over, so meh.

You guys are looking way too deep into this. I think Scott just changed his idea of the timeframe half way through development and now there are a stuff ton of continuity errors.

You know, I had nothing better to do with my time and just looked into it. All well.

Give us some examples of continuity errors. Because so far, there has been an answer for everything.

And there's a problem with sojolala's theory. While the puppet is probably controlling all of the animatronics, why would it program them to kill everyone? In fact, the phone guy mentions that the are relatively friendly towards the children, but only give blank stares to adults. I think the puppet has something against the staff working there.

No, you've made up an answer for everything.

Give me one post where I made something up.

WHY FNAF 2 IS A PREQUEL:
- Phone Guy is alive
- The five children weren't murdered yet?
- The Bite of '87 hasn't happened yet?
- the secret Easter egg death screen is a old school Atari like game
- The pay is 100 dollars (don't remember the exact pay) which means the wage per hour was at least three dollars, which is about what the minimum wage was at that time.
- Jeremy's check date is November 12, 1987

WHY FNAF2 IS A SEQUEL:
-New updated versions of the old animatronics
-The old animatronics exist
- Added animatronics (Balloon Boy and the Puppet)
- Phone Guy specifically says that this is a grand reopening, the doors from the old building exists and were removed, and that the old guard (possibly Mike) complained about the animatronics moving and has been moved to the day shift
- This is the Grand Reopening of the pizzeria.

Scott needs to make up his loving mind

the old guys exist because the old place was fredbears family dinner. and its a grand reopening.
new animatronics existed but was taken away aka scrapped and old was kept and refurbished

Why the forget would you keep the old and stuffty ones that are broken as stuff when you could just keep the nice and shiny new ones?

for nostalgia and to reopen with a way smaller budget without spending alot on animations. (FNAF 1)
but not sure though its video game logic

why does everyone confuse day shift guy with mike...

also the fredbear's family diner was probably a "forget me can't recall" on phone guy's part iirc

-New updated versions of the old animatronics
There was a building before the one in FNAF 2. The phone guy said it was something like "Fredbear's Family Diner"

-The old animatronics exist
They were from the previous building. The one in FNAF 1 would be the third one assuming the theory is correct.

- Added animatronics (Balloon Boy and the Puppet)
The Balloon Boy was probably scrapped along with the 2.0 animatronics (as stated in the newspaper at the end of night 6)

- Phone Guy specifically says that this is a grand reopening, the doors from the old building exists and were removed, and that the old guard (possibly Mike) complained about the animatronics moving and has been moved to the day shift
Yes, that's because "Fredbear's Diner" closed down. Someone bought the name, along with the old animatronics, and founded Fazbear Entertainment.

- This is the Grand Reopening of the pizzeria.
You just said the same thing twice.

also the fredbear's family diner was probably a "forget me can't recall" on phone guy's part iirc
At the place where he worked? The buildings from FNAF 1 and FNAF 2 were both called "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria". That's why people think "Fredbear's Family Diner" was the origin of the old animatronics.

Why the forget would you keep the old and stuffty ones that are broken as stuff when you could just keep the nice and shiny new ones?
They scrapped the new ones. I'm guessing it's because the new ones were the ones with dead children inside them.

Any other questions?
