Brutus Buckeye. A buckeye is a nut from the shockingly well-named buckeye tree. They're really common in Ohio so they just sort of embraced the buckeye as a symbol of the state.

Brutus is literally a man with a nut for a head.

When I lived in Ohio all my friends were really supportive of the state's football team and were really annoying about it, so ever since it has made me dislike the buckeye's :<

That's pretty cool that you get in for free, but if that's the ONLY reason you're going, you might wanna reconsider.
There were cheaper colleges, and colleges that are seen as better, in terms of their reputation. ECU is considered a party school, everyone smokes, everyone gets drunk on weekends, always a party, etc.

But it feels like home. But more power to you if you're satisfied with it. Only 4 years of your life, which is kinda where you figure out what kind of adult you are.

Yeah I'm honestly not sure what to get into. Writings cool but getting a degree in English is dumb unless I want to teach it. Thinking about learning to code or teach high school history. But then again 2 years ago I wanted to get into psychology so things change I guess lol
