I do like the fact you are continuing to update it, and I consistently get lost in the map (in a good way.).

However, that doesn't change my view that this is not much more than a stripped down City RPG, with only the crime bits left.

I have not seen any gameplay that shows otherwise, again, feel free to prove me wrong/state your case, because I've played for a while and haven't seen anything other than what I stated.

Either way, it is a nice work, Furdle.

EDIT: replaced was with is, to avoid confusion.
there's a few reasons why this is much better than a typical city RPG.
first off, the usual city RPG's in blockland are inherently ugly because everyone is allowed to build and there's always those weird square lots all over the place.

also, the crime bits of city RPG are pretty much the only interesting parts imo - who wants to sit and click an ore and tree brick all day? crime and police are the only jobs that require the player to do anything engaging to make money

I think it's mostly about have engaging things to do

In my opinion this server does need more engaging things to do. I know it's still in early development, but the biggest issue is not having any objective when earning money. Drugs and weapons are relatively cheap, so I wouldn't necessarily count them. Things like personal vehicles, personal garages and helipads, etc would be great to work towards and keep players interested in the server for longer periods of time. Another good idea would be clothing stores. I know avatars and how they look aren't a huge deal, but clothing stores would still be a decent addition. The more ways players can earn and spend their money the better.

A (in my opinion) nice suggestion would be random server-wide events like a randomly spawning cache of drugs that spawn that anyone can pick up and sell, its location advertised to everyone in the server, and possibly if someone picks it up there would a be a marker on the person holding them.

Buildings you can rent and live in while you're online in the server, you should only be able to rent one at a time.
- They should be far away from the drug dropoff points, to avoid too easy moneys.

This is more of a minor one, but boats would be pretty cool.

ya I need something I can spend 30k on other than guns. I don't need guns

Lets see, the jail and the ammo stores are the only buildings with interiors, their interiors are not in fact within the buildings themselves, and the server is at what, 114k bricks? So you want us to make 30ish more interiors of small places someone can rent, and easily grow w/e they want? The OP states only a select few contributors will get apartments, and as one of the select few I actually do not have one, nor do I plan on building one. Ghosting is bad enough as is.

Fair points, but the other two suggestions slightly more considerable than this one.

Then again, cant the supporters with their custom apartments build drugs in their apartments too? If so, that would contradict the point you're trying to make.

None of the supporters actually have apartments. Also I'm pretty sure that all of us who put in the majority of work are mainly SA's and some normal admins. So if any of us want we can literally orb in a wall and grow massive farms. But there's no point in that for us.

One of the biggest growths (200) plants:

Aaaaannnd the biggest bust:

things that I've wanted to work on for a while are clothes stores and personal vehicles. After the cop update we are going to work on these. People complain that there's not enough to do but you could literally get 100 hours out of exploring and playing this server if you were determined enough. You all payed 10/20 dollars for this game and if you can manage to make that many hours on my server then I'm glad. One thing to take into consideration is that we might be out of beta but we are not finished.

there are so many trolls here with no admins. it sux

I learned a while back that if you don't reply to the trolls they'll be quiet. it's not possible to talk logically to them so don't even attempt

they still kept going. and u resigned so we had noone

Yeah sorry about the lack of admins. If you take pictures of them doing what you believe to be serious as well as their ID's then just send me a message on here and I'll take care of it. I'm on the forums more often than the game.

I honestly don't see how this can't keep people entertained. That feeling of being chased down by the cops with your game is, is. Its a good feeling.
Ditching the crashed car and running into an alleyway and setting up for an ambush. That's true GTA.
