I hate how good you are at this ;-; the cinematographic work looks incredible.

If I could just throw a bit of criticism though, it seems a little dark judging from that video? Would a bit of ambient light ruin the atmosphere? Seems like it could get pretty confusing/disorientating from how dark it is (unless that is the intended effect)

one gameplay aspect involves power and and using power. you deactivate energy consumption in certain spots and transfer it to somewhere else in the sector, powering up the lights, machinery, mechanisms, etc. the area in the video is shown at a low power state.
one of the first power level stages activates the neon light trimming and weak lighting, which at least gives you some guidance in the dark

monsters also really like the dark

happy birthday project thread

ok so i wanted to get some big video out but unfortunately i'm going to possibly be busy the next few days so i'll have to make something like that later

in the meantime there's two videos here: one showcasing a little something from DWELLER and a small footage video going through a few Rentaria RPG bits. it's not as grand as i wanted it to be, especially for the thread birthday, but i'll try to speed up my project progress and get bigger things out and get some fresh stuff. i'm also going to record the votes and reset the poll to see if anyone has new opinions.
remember all this stuff is HEAVY work in progress!

also if anyone's got any great ideas i can use to add to these that'd be stellar

Man once again I just wanna express my interest and admiration of your work and your integrity regarding these projects, it's really inspiring and motivating.

Was that a 'blowout' in the first video? There are certainly some differences but it just gives the blowout vibe. Also the first part of that second video looks really amazing, it actually legitimately had me stressed, the fact that you've pulled off a decent horror feeling in blockland makes me really jealous haha. Great work man.
