hey, forum, i'm in a bit of a jam

so i'm gonna be a senior this year in highschool, and somehow i managed to get into AP physics, calculus, and AP Computer Science. The catch is that uh- i dunno how i got into those classes. im not very smart and i have ADHD and my folders are less organized than the shack that jeffry dahmer killed all those squirrels in; i'm a dumb nerd, it's a terrible thing to be

However! most of you nerdz are smart as forget and wear glasses and say things like "quadrant", so i was wondering if any of you guys had some study advice or homework advice, or just advice to being in tough classes.

thanks

talk to the counselor or w/e to try to get out of those classes

holy stuff we're in the same boat, except I'm going to regents classes for high school credit. I'm taking regents algebra and regents living environment.

i have no advice but to just weather the storm

I might be able to help you with computer science, however I cant program or do anything mathematical

then you can't help him in computer science because that's what it's mostly about

This is great.

Study hard man you can do it.

the thing is, our school has 3,000 people in it and it's made for only 1,000, so it's real unlikely you can switch classes 'cus they're all full... and if i can get good grades this year i might actually be able to go to a UC

Really? Wow, the curriculum mustve changed because last time I took it about 2 years ago there was no programming all.

at our school i think we're gonna start with scratch (for some reason, i dunno), and then do javascript.

i'm taking into to digital technology and my teacher keeps calling scratch "coding"

same boat as well
and i'm supposed to be on medication, but i ran out, and my dad doesn't want me taking it anymore

Stay strong and study Camel, you will be in our prayers.

I did the AP CS test without being in the class. It only took reading the prep book over (I skipped the practice questions so it was very light reading) and then I studied every day for a bit in the week before the test. Got a 5. That's probably one of the easiest AP courses.
As for calc and physics, I doubt you'll have that much trouble, but my school's calc/physics curriculum is totally different probably so I have no advice.

AP Comp Sci has been coding since 1999 at least.

If you need help with AP CS pm me. Java's probably the only language I'm good at.

I can't help you with anything science/math/coding

well it will help introducing people to programming concepts
idk how necessary that is exactly, though
JavaScript was my first language and I just jumped right into it. never messed with Scratch or anything. and I didn't really have any issue :v
