First of all why are you teaching a kid at a young age to shoot a gun? this isn't the walking dead or the war in Afghanistan
second of all I am pretty sure the instructor is supposed to be behind the occupant with the gun They do this in the army

third of all the instructor has no ear protection

kids. or anyone new to guns shouldnt be using something short enough to accidentally shoot yourself so easily.
and its hard to teach kids who love toy guns how to use a real one. they instinctivly want to point it at people.
