Auto loader, the seat is closer to the loading thing.

idfk. stop making it difficult
No auto loaders in ww2, you wouldn't be able to aim if you moved the seat.

I am well aware that there weren't, but for the sake of RPing I'd make that sacrifice.

Mikoyan you are being a big cunt right now. Start commanding.

"Charlie tank here, sniper on a barn, 2 o'clock, taking shot,"

I shift my view over to the place Charlie tank is referring to. The tank rocks with the shot of its main gun. The top of the barn explodes and starts to burn. I was surprised the shell even detonated after hitting such a soft material. I shift my view back to the tree line.

"Charlie here, good effect on target,"

"Gunner, there's a pretty thick hedge about thirty degrees to your left. Put a round into it. I want no surprises," I say, watching throught the cupola.

"Yessir! Firing!"

I pull the trigger and send an HE round into the bush. The casing is ejected and drops into the brass catcher for the loader to stow away. Another HE round is chambered.

just to reiterate: team a now has an npc loader and mlockha is loader for team b. if you guys want to work something out let's do it after we finish this mission

The brush explodes and unnaturally burns furiously. What looks like the nozzle of a K-pattern flamethrower flies away.

"Good effect on target,"

I shove a HE round into the chamber, catching the ejected one and storing it away.

you know what? i don't really care about what tech was available in world war two
we have autoloaders now, and they work almost perfectly. i'm thinking there was another short war where all this stuff got discovered
i don't really give a forget

Autoloaders are fairly common by this point and are utilized by the major militaries participating in the war. Most are still rather primitive and only provide a minor reduction in loading times, and are rather expensive considering. Autoloaders are only available due to some fragments of podtech and associated schematics. Otherwise, tank designs are rather unremarkable, and would be just slightly more advanced than the time period's Terran equivalents during the second world war.

A 20mm rifle is still going to punch through tank armor with relative ease.

alright thanks mate

That's historically inaccurate. No one used auto loaders en masse they aren't "fairly common."

But whatevs for the RP

During the middle ages, the most honored knights possessed blades sheathed in holy lightning.
As ancient empires ruled, they clothed their finest warriors in power armor that they did not quite understand.
In Mercanan kingdoms, ferrum from the gods, possessing toxic properties was forged into grapeshot.
There was once said to be a Kintharian archer carrying an automatic crossbow that fired scorching light.

Historical accuracy went out the window as a result of how humans came to be upon this planet.

This is a non-earth non-historical non-super-realistic RP, you know that right? This is set on different continents with different countries with different lore.

He just said "Otherwise, tank designs are rather unremarkable, and would be slightly more advanced than the time period's Terran equivalents during the second world war."

I fire at a group sniper's nest with the coaxial gun.

I gingerly rotate the turret to scan the treeline for enemies, careful not to make sudden movements, minding the tank desant infantry. A few small arms rounds hit the front of the tank, but before I could react the MG 42 gunner above dispatches the source of the gunfire.

Since we're on the subject, how big of a role is podtech and sci-fi going to play in this RP's narrative? Can we expect to see some crazy Wolfenstein stuff from the big axis countries?
