"Good morning, Iwan." I say as the tank fills with morning air when he opens up the hatch. I take a deep breath of air before continuing the routine checks of my system. I check the loading thingy, cleaning it out with an oily rag, and close it. I do other boring stuff not worth mentioning.

We pull out of the motor pool. I look back and see that only two tanks are following us.

"Radioman, call Heat and see what he's up to,"

As he approaches the tank, he sees sergeants Burham and Daxton doing routine pre-mission checks to their stations. Iwan takes the cigarette out of his mouth, "Sergeant Burham!" He says sternly, "Where the forget is Corporal Willis and Corporal Perry? Go find them. Now."

Ulysses stands at attention. "YES SIR!" He dismisses himself and walks to the Mess, where he expects to find men that have just woken up. He looks around for Corporal Perry and Willis. He spots Willis and walks toward him. "Sergeant Iwan needs you at the tank." Ulysses walks off.

"Got it."

I flip some switches and press some buttons.
"This is (callsign name here, unless I wasn't paying attention). Can I get a check for what tanks are ready to go?"

"Driver take us to staging, we'll hold there,"


I have a football game here in about an hour, so from here on out until I post again I give control of Roy Morgan to Steele/Gojira

I should be back around 11 or so, until then, Steele is Roy.

Ulysses stands at attention. "YES SIR!" He dismisses himself and walks to the Mess, where he expects to find men that have just woken up. He looks around for Corporal Perry and Willis. He spots Willis and walks toward him. "Sergeant Iwan needs you at the tank." Ulysses walks off.

Willis turned to the man, making an almost disgusted face at him, "Come on man, I'm drinking my coffee here," he said, sipping from his mug.  He watches the man walk off afterward, shaking his head and taking another sip from his coffee, walking back over to the mess counter to place his mug with the other dirty dishes.  He then walks out to the tank, shielding his eyes from the rising morning sun.

I drive us over to the staging area.
"Woah. That's a lot of tanks."

Halftime stalkers, Gojira can still be me after this until I'm back.


I hold up my arm signaling the other tanks to halt.

"Radioman keep at it with B Tank,"

Ulysses, after searching the rest of the base, finally walks to the final location where Corporal Perry would be. He enters the barracks and stands at attention, then talks. "Corporal Perry, Sergeant Iwan requests your presence at the tank, sir!"

From what I can tell from my cramped driver spot, the sky is filled with planes.
