Dragons are overrated and not worth the elixir cost imo. My level 5 air defenses can take down a level 1 dragon in only about five hits (just guessing), which is a direct waste of 25,000 elixir right there on top of 30m training time.

I had to do that with barracks boosted yesterday to make elixir quickly in exchange for trophy loss. Ugly losses, but I made a lot of elixir for my dark barracks upgrade (for Valkyrie).

It takes a level 5 air defense 11 hits to destroy a level 2 dragon though, which is enough time for the dragon to destroy the defense first.

It was a revenge attack most likely. I was hit by a revenge attack once and the trophies didn't change at all. The trophy system is usually either inflated or deflated in seems.

Also, I now have level 5 archers. Probably gonna do wizards next.

Plus, there is no way in hell I'd attack a town hall 7 or someone with level 6 walls (Unless they were a farming base)

I don't really care though. I was only raising my trophies so I could get 450 gems

I believe the record for most trophies gained in a attack was around 70
