I annihilated my best battle ever in a war recently. I was feeling sooooo proud of myself because those three stars were not easy. The clan castle was in the middle with the town hall, so I sent two decoy giants (trained specifically to be decoys, and the only giants I had) in towards the walls to trigger the release of reinforcements. I then used archers to lure them outside the walls, surrounding them with several more archers and two wizards to finish them off. I then used some decoy archers to trigger giants bombs, finding two. I sent in 10 hogs + 5 hogs from clan castle after the bombs were gone, and kept them alive with heal spells as they rampaged through the enemy defenses. I sent my remaining wizards and some valkyries in behind them with two backup healers to clear out the miscellaneous buildings that were left behind. I put my remaining archers on the opposite side of the base to knock out more defenses to make the hogs' offense a bit easier. Once the defenses were all out, everything just ran around demolishing the remains.
To get an idea of the defenses, all the walls were levels 6 and 7, cannons were 9, archer towers 8 and 9, and so on with a Town Hall of 8 and a clan castle of 4.
