Author Topic: Perma-bans: a bit much aren't they?  (Read 2950 times)

Every ban is perma for me, if you are bad enough to warrant a ban you deserve no second chances.

I also keep a backup log incase mine is cleared so no one ever gets unbanned without going through me.

Ontopic: Perma bans are needed, There are those habitual problem users who would keep coming back, some even going as far as to change to an alt to come back.

I don't usually dish out permanent bans unless I'm dealing with someone I am aware of and know how they act elsewhere. Recurring problem users don't get mercy, but first time offenses are usually not permanent depending on the magnitude of their bad behavior.

Perma-bans are used when players annoy the Host.

How is this against the rules?
I think what Damp means by that is that he's saying people should read the rules before they post as they can get permabanned for a certain kind of post.

OMGGG I REMEMBER DOING THIS

I'd get banned on one account for whatever reason, so I'd keep rejoining on new keys. I used to have like 30 active keys, so I'd just keep rejoining every 30 sec on a new key for 15 minutes straight.

So let me get this straight, you had 30 accounts, just so you could intentionally bother somebody and be a jerk? Look at yourself for a second, is that really who you want to be? The guy who goes to great lengths just to get in the way. The guy who is remembered as that douche who would not just leave us alone. Is that really worth it? Is that really what you want?

Holy crap man he said he REMEMBERS doing this
as in it was in the past

Yes but, if they still play a whole year later, they might have learned better by then. I think a year is long enough to let somebody back on, as they have likely changes as a person over that whole year.

Perhaps we should look back at the more infamous members here?

permanently banning someone in a game is like putting someone in Prison forever, but with a chance of getting out.

Lmao, you have no idea who I am. I've had well over a hundred blockland keys at one point or another.
