Oasis, you're right about not bringing up loveuality with your suite-mate, but wrong about the reasons for not doing so. If you guys are mature enough to handle other people having their own loveuality, then there should be no issue with knowing each other's. Only narcissists and the homophobic worry about being hit on by the same love.
However, if you're not comfortable enough to bring up loveuality with this guy, then you're right for not doing so. One's loveuality is not so important that it should qualify a person; and it should only be known by those that are actually interested in that person (or those that see him walking down the street with his partner).
There are not that many unknowns and you really should not have to worry about them in the first place. If you worry about knowing the outcome before you take action, you'll never get anywhere. lol
