Upon getting word the trade has gone through, the government issues orders for several factories to be constructed in every province. Orders for nanotechnological chips are placed en masse. The chips will be designed to read blood sugar and hormone levels in the blood, along with heart rates.

We are only slightly more advanced than modern (2014) times. The only great advancements in history was space colonies and subspace. Please keep this in mind.

Anything else slightly more advanced than what we have in the modern (2014) times, if you're worried please tell me your idea.

Another test-firing round of the OG railguns occur, and the accuracy is reduced to 1.7'.  Further calibrations are possible, but technicians are satisfied with the result.  Budgeting now continues on the Hive project.

They're both invisible.  I just prefer MW because it disables electronics, boils anything with water in it, and pierces through the atmosphere splendidly.  I may make a laser type that contains two types of light in an inner and outer ring of the beam, however, so it is multipurpose.

I'm not saying orbital railguns would not be possible. I'm just saying it's a stupid idea. You should consider your orbital lasers the successor of the railguns. Because they are.

I was referring to the same lazer when I said "Invisible microwave lasers" "(invisible lasers" saying that invisible lasers like the microwave could give you an advantage (though if you use any other lethal lasers as a orbital weapon that's also okay)

Atenisia, in need for nanotechnologies and forcefield research, decides to swing from FTI to BC and domestic approaches because of this agreement between such a human rights-abusing nation and the company.

FTI can pull out of the deal with UVC, and gain multiple contracts for research and that stuff and the rights to factories in Atenisian owned borders (that tend to be *uhum* more cleaner and better quality of life ja*uhuhm).
