Actually, yes. BlockAlpha got back to me and answered a few questions I had about playertypes, so all should be good now. Work can continue. :)

Well, yeah, it'll be a playertype vehicle, so the player will simply sit inside. That was to be expected. However, for people outside, it won't matter, because the windshield will be opaque, not see-through.

Also, with a neat coding trick, I'm going to make the right click usable for secondary weapons by making the client's control object the mech itself.

I think Blue means it's a playertype in-staid of a vehicle you jump in.

It may just be a command if I decide to use the light key for something, but otherwise it'll just be the light key, yeah.

No, it will be a vehicle. By default, it'll also be a playertype.

Give it miniguns under the rocket pods please.

I like it, it reminds me of ED-209 from Robocop, the Original, not the remake...though it sort of also resembles the new one...

It may just be a command if I decide to use the light key for something, but otherwise it'll just be the light key, yeah.
Command is not as fast and useful as a key press, but then again, you could add a keybind for it.
But then it would be only easily accessible for people with the mod, even when you also leave the command in.
Just my view on it however. :)

Sorry, not taking requests. Also, that's sort of overkill - it already has dual machine guns.

True. However, I am trying to make this semi-realistic, and dismounting in real life wouldn't exactly be that fast anyway.

A single chargeable lazer that depending on how long you hold the click, its damage increases.

if it's a vehicle, exiting will be done with the right mouse button, i don't think anyone has ever found a way to really change that

Pretty sure I can just override it with an unparented function in a package. I mean, lordician didn't even say anything about it, so...

Good news, guys! While I don't have all of the animations done yet, I do have the main ones done (running, sidestepping, etc) and working in-game. Coloring has begun (and coincidentally also almost finished).







Badass. That is all I can say about that color scheme. Badass.
