It'd be possible if we could travel faster than the speed of light.

The math behind physics 100% allows for time to go backwards, but the so called arrow of time only goes in one direction and nobody's figured out how to make it go backwards. Forwards time travel is 100% possible. If you were to orbit close to a black hole, what seems to you to be a couple seconds would actually be hundreds of years to anyone watching you.
